Meet Your Therapist!
At InnerWork Wellness, our clinicians are more than therapists. We're advocates, and people who get it. Our diverse team of clinicians specialize in culturally responsive care for Black, Queer, and People of Color navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and more. We bring credentials, lived experience, and genuine compassion to every session; because you deserve a therapist who sees all of you. We serve children and adolescents as well, yes! Even virtually. Because giving humans the tools earlier on is imperative!

MEET TOLAYA
Founder, Psychotherapist, Author
I’m Tolaya Geredine, LCPC, founder of InnerWork Wellness and author of Read Yourself: 30 Days of Inner Work. For over a decade, I have supported Black men & women, queer people, a variety of professionals, and individuals from marginalized communities as they untangle old wounds, understand their patterns, reconnect with themselves, and build lives that feel more honest and aligned. My highest recommendation to do this is through EMDR.

You may be used to being the strong one, the self-aware one, or the person everyone turns to. But being capable does not mean you were meant to carry everything alone.
I work best with clients who are ready to look beneath the surface. You may already have insight into your patterns but feel unsure how to change them. You may be tired of overfunctioning, abandoning yourself in relationships, carrying family wounds, or understanding everyone except yourself. Together, we will create space for honesty, curiosity, accountability, grief, and meaningful change.

My approach is warm, culturally responsive, spiritually affirming, and deeply rooted in trauma-informed care. You do not have to code-switch, minimize your experiences, or separate your identity from your healing here. Your Blackness, queerness, spirituality, relationships, family history, and any other complexities are all welcome in the room.

My areas of focus include:

🔸 Trauma healing through EMDR
🔸 Attachment wounds, family patterns, and inner child work
🔸 Codependency recovery, boundaries, and relationship healing
🔸 Perinatal and postpartum mental health, including birth trauma
🔸 Religious trauma, spiritual wounding, and identity development
🔸 Queer experiences and culturally responsive care
🔸 Therapist consultation, clinical supervision, and business mindset coaching

Clients often describe me as compassionate, intuitive, and honest. I will hold space for your story with warmth while also lovingly inviting you to go deeper when familiar patterns begin to appear.

If you're ready to do your inner work, I am happy to join you on that journey.

MEET DOMINIQUE
Psychotherapist
I'm Dr. Dominique Walker-Branch, Ph.D., LMFT providing therapy in Illinois and Texas! For nearly a decade, I've supported children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in finding their way back to each other — and to themselves. My work is grounded in cultural awareness, compassion, and a deep belief that your story deserves to be heard without judgment.
Healing is not just individual — it lives in our relationships, our families, and the stories we've been telling about ourselves for years.

My areas of focus include:

🔸 Pre-Marital & Pre-Baby Counseling
🔸 Adolescents and young adults navigating identity, self-esteem, and anxiety
🔸 Couples and families facing low conflict, communication struggles, or transitions
🔸 Parenting concerns and child/adolescent behavioral challenges
🔸 Mood disorders, anxiety, and perfectionism
🔸 Life transitions and adjustment challenges
🔸 Trauma, racial identity, and racial trauma

I practice from a Narrative and Contextual Therapy lens; meaning we look at the stories that have shaped your relationships and work together to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you. This is a non-blaming, empathy-forward space where every person in the room gets to feel seen and validated.
My training spans inpatient psychiatric care at Seattle Children's Hospital, community mental health, schools, and university clinics — with a particular commitment to serving Black families, refugee families, and communities that have historically been underserved.
Whether you're coming as an individual, a couple, or a family, there's room for you here.

MEET NICOLE
Psychotherapist & Clinical Support
Hi! I’m Nicole Kujawa, a pre-licensed therapist, M.Ed.

Therapy is incredibly important to me because I have seen the impact that a safe space and person can have on healing. Allowing someone a space that is authentically their own where they can set the pace and expectations
is exceedingly powerful. I have seen the way that a lack of feeling seen and heard can
disconnect you from yourself and how therapy can create a tether back to who you are. I want
to be able to provide that space for my clients.
My approach is flexible and creative, incorporating conversation, skill-building, art, and play based on what feels most helpful for each person. I especially value helping clients reconnect with their bodies and develop a deeper awareness of what they may be feeling, particularly during times of anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life transitions. Therapy with me is a collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, build confidence, and develop tools that support you both in and outside of our sessions!
My areas of focus include:
🔸 Children, adolescents, and young adults navigating life transitions
🔸Anxiety and depression
🔸 Parent/child relationships
🔸 Trauma and emotional regulation
🔸 Individuals with disordered eating
With me as your therapist, we will be a team building your therapy goals together. We will create
goals that feel productive and attainable with you, and we will utilize tools that feel most
supportive and conducive for healing and processing your life experiences. I want you to feel
like the therapy space we create together is completely your own where you feel like you are
heard, seen, and understood.
Wherever you’re at in your therapy journey, I would love to be a part of your experience to
support you and facilitate healing and growth.
